We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team at CPM. Operating as part of the business partnering team, this role’s primary focus is to provide proactive and collaborative support to a varied group of field sales and office-based teams, partnering with managers and a third party legal team to contribute towards our commercial interests while remaining legal and compliant. 

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract 

Ideal Location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9

Salary: £35K DOE

Hours: 37.5, Monday to Friday

Hybrid working with 3:2 ratio, Office:Home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confident advice and guidance to resolve HR issues and manage HR risks by balancing legal and commercial risks.
  • Use data and management information to identify trends and make recommendations to improve the quality of people management.
  • Input in the regular review and updating of the full range of HR policies and procedures in line with Employment Legislation.
  • Stakeholder communication with a recognisable client portfolio.
  • Deliver training and advice to the business as needed, to ensure compliance and effective people management. Work with Account Managers to identify any line manager training needs.
  • Undertake exit interviews for leavers monitoring content and ensuring follow-up action is taken.
  • Build strong relationships with Recruitment, Talent, People Services, and Reward specialists.
  • Support business partners in delivering key people processes where required.
  • Exposure to and involvement in broader HR projects as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable and relevant experience within HR/ Employment Law.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A high level of empathy.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a key focus on planning and organisation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
