Drive your career to new levels and use your car mechanic skills! CPM are looking for an Aftermarket Technical Demonstrator to represent market leading DRiV steering and suspension car parts. Salary £30-35k (depending on experience) + bonus of up to 10% per annum + company vehicle+ overnight stay and expenses paid.

What would I be doing?
Our Aftermarket Technical Demonstrator will be covering a territory encompassing the whole of the UK. You will be using your mechanical expertise and visiting specialist car part partners and garages in the area building relationships, being an advocate for DRiV’s products and providing technical sales training.
Your day to day will include:
• Working for CPM visiting automotive car part aftersales partners within your territory and selected garages and dealerships.
• Using your technical / mechanic skills you will visit businesses as the ambassador for DRiV products, using your expertise and people skills to drive advocacy and increase sales
• Presenting the product ranges, getting outlets to stock additional lines and ensuring that they are the recommended part of choice.
• You will also do demonstrations, touring workshops and engaging with the mechanics to show them how to best fit the parts, also answering technical queries, adding real value and ensuring customers get the best service.
You would love this Aftermarket Technical Demonstrator role if you:
• Have experience working as a trained mechanic- fitting steering and suspension parts in particular.
• Have up to date training on the latest car/mechanical technology.
• Have strong people skills and are able to build relationships with people at all levels, from distributors to mechanics and installers.
• Are articulate and engaging with the confidence to interact and demonstrate these products, talking about their key features and benefits.
• Are persuasive and able to overcome objections.
• Have some experience within sales combined with a passion for mechanics. (This would be the ideal combination to make this the perfect career move for you).
• Are looking for a new career which really allows you to use your passion for mechanics and the automotive industry and gives you the freedom to be able to step up and really make a difference to the people you are speaking to.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Are happy to travel nationwide with overnight stays 2-3 times a week.
