New year- New Career. We require an Assistant Financial Accounting Manager to join our Finance department . Excellent salary of up to £50k, plus company bonus and excellent benefits including pension and 26 days holiday.

As Assistant Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment alongside a knowledgeable team in Omni-SSG so there’s never a dull day at work! You will deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules for both internal and external reporting purposes, review monthly financials (including balance sheet reconciliations) and an on-going review of processes to identify any efficiency savings and control opportunities. You will also be responsible for the management and development of a team of 2 Financial Accountants.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Management and development of 2 Finance Accountants
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including intercompany accounts.
• Quarterly calculation of Corporation tax for US reporting
• Liaison with UK tax team for UK Corporation Tax reporting and completion of annual Corporation Tax questionnaire.
• Production of Statutory Accounts.
• Compliance with FCA reporting requirements.
• Co-ordination of external and internal audits.
• Co-ordination, review and implementation of Sarbanes Oxley processes.
• Provide training to all Commercial teams within the entities on compliance.
• Management of systems administration.
• Co-ordination of month end timetable and calendars for all entities.
• Maintain strong relationship with Omnicom central stats and tax teams
• Review of VAT returns and accounts. Follow up VAT related queries and ensure compliance with all VAT related legislation, including foreign VAT
• Project work as allocated
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

You would enjoy this an Assistant Financial Accounting Manager role if:

• You have experience of working in a financial environment ideally from a practice background
• Ideally ACCA/CIMA or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified • You would enjoy being client facing and are able to quickly build rapport with people.
• You thrive on working to extremely tight deadlines.
• You know when to modify how you present your information, ensuring the key points land with your audience.
