Looking for the next step in your career and have a keen interest in social media? We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate team player to join us as a Social Content Planner with a key of focus on TikTok, YouTube and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), based at Asda in Leeds. Up to £26k per annum pro rata for a 10 month fixed term contract, starting in April.

Ideal location: Leeds, United Kingdom, LS11

Salary: Up to £26k per annum DOE (pro rata)

You will be working as part of the Social Transformation team helping to plan, deliver and execute content in line with Asda’s strategic growth plan. You will work with the Planned Content teams and Transformation Manager to deliver monthly social content and activation. This role will be integral to the delivery of the social plan, you will have laser attention to detail and focus on ensuring deadlines are met and creative has been through the relevant sign-off processes/adheres to brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with different stakeholders across the business such as the Legal, Trading and PR teams and build long lasting relationships.
  • You’ll support with day-to-day communications, helping to collate creative feedback, fulfil requests for product information and drive key meetings.
  • You’ll take a lead role to manage product and price sign-off with the trading team, work closely with our publications team to engage them on key content and social initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of products which will be used for video shoots.
  • You’ll have a keen interest in wider marketing and keep up to date with market trends including the review of competitors.
  • You will support in planning sessions and give feedback on social layouts, copy, and content flow.
  • You will be responsible for the maintenance of project plans, presentation decks, organisation of meetings and minutes.
  • As part of the wider social team, you may also support across digital, social and general project planning.
  • You will use tools available to you to review data led insight in order to maximise our content return on investment.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Methodical, attention to detail, solutions based
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Evidence based creative experience and copywriting
  • Ability to multi-task; used to a fast-paced and dynamic
  • Experience in driving and delivering projects
