The role is part of the Thame Site Team and is responsible for the cover of site maintenance and ad hoc support in opening and closing of the office ensuring the Site is safe, secure and maintained.

The role will be required to respond to any maintenance issue/request reported by anyone working within the Thame Site. It will also support specific business needs including Site based maintenance projects as well as any specific actions set by the Site Team Leader.

The role will also be required to act as a Site First Aider and Fire Warden.

Ideal Location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9

Pay: £14 p/h

Key Responsibilities and Key Result Areas-

Site:

  • To ensure all requests (verbal and email) are completed in a timely manner complying with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify problems on site and pre-empt any requests where
  • Maintain the buildings and outside areas, ensuring they are clean and
  • Liaise with contractors when tasks are outside of internal scope, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and cost-effective.
  • Ensure company equipment managed by Site Maintenance is in good working order and complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Take ownership of the Site Maintenance Schedule ensuring regular tasks and seasonal maintenance is completed to plan, i.e. unblocking toilets, outside bench repair, car park moss and gritting in the event of snow.
  • Ensure every Accident / Incident is documented as per business

Key Holder:

  • Open and close the office as per the agreed Rota ensuring the appropriate safety checks are completed when doing so.
  • Be on call in line with any agreement to attend to any on-site emergencies as
  • Understand and be able to manage the setting and disarming of the alarm system ensuring the system is in good working order.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • General DIY experience is
  • Experience in plumbing and electrics is desirable but not essential.

Special Features:

  • The role will be on call outside of normal working hours in line with any agreement.
  • The business will ensure First Aid, Fire Warden and Security training are
  • Some flexibility with working hours will be required in line with business For example, coming in earlier than shift in the event of snow to grit the car park.
