Your sales career to date is impressive. Now it's time to move it up a notch. As a Business Development Executive in the grocery sector you will represent world renowned drinks brands such as Guinness, Baileys, HopHouse and Gordon’s to name a few. Showcase your talent to high profile clients visiting the stores on your territory. £25.281 per annum + £3000 bonus + company car.

Ideal Location: Wembley

Territory covering:
North/ North west London and surrounding areas

This role is just the beginning of where you could take your career with us. No day is the same, working as part of our Diageo grocery team you will be calling into the top grocery retailers in your territory (No prospecting necessary, call file is already in place). You will use your relationship building and persuasive skills to maximise all opportunities for distribution in store. Even more exciting, this is a key territory for the client, so you will have the chance to host store visits and demonstrate your grocery expertise.

What will your day look like?
• Planning your calls to carry out face to face visits to the top retailers on your territory using your local market and sector knowledge to draw up bespoke business plans and make informed recommendations to store managers
• Engaging in business conversations, advising key stakeholders on promotions and increasing awareness of the whole product range and in turn maximise sales
• Secure distribution points, shelf space and displays
• Reporting during and after each call on the tablet provided, sharing invaluable competitor information with the business and your achievements in call too
• Be the problem solver by using top of the range data provided to check stock levels to prevent any potential problems
• Using the great data provided to check stock levels and resolve any potential problems.
• Ensuring the agreed shelf space and displays are in place to maximize sales
• Reporting during and after each call on the tablet provided, sharing invaluable competitor information with the business and your achievements in call too

• You have sales experience within the Grocery sector and would relish the high-profile nature of this territory and the chance to show visitors how your stores and territory are the 'best in class'

• You are commercially minded and are happy to analyse in store data to help you achieve your goals, previous retail experience is ideal, however full training will be given
• You have excellent relationship building skills and would be able to use these to influence decision makers

A full UK driving licence is essential
