Working for CPM on behalf of Samsung, it is the Client Account Directors role to have hands on day-to-day client interaction and allow you to make real difference.  The goal is to support the client to grow their market share, with focus on the Samsung TVAV channel.  You will have ownership of budgets and be making decisions that have commercial impact on our business.  Up to £70k p.a. depending on experience + 10% bonus (STC) + car allowance.

The role includes maintaining not just the relationship with the client but supporting the back-office function and field teams to deliver operational excellence for Samsung.   Experience of working with clients in the technology sector would be advantageous, and previous experience of working in a field marketing agency is essential to support this fast-moving environment.

You will have experience of managing transformational projects on behalf of clients and be able to demonstrate where you have been instrumental in driving innovative solutions for your client.

Ideal Location: Egham, United Kingdom, TW20

This is a hybrid role which will require working across multiple office sites in Oxfordshire, London and other sites, as well as working from home.

As our Samsung Client Account Director your key responsibilities will be

  • Establishing and maintaining the sales operations procedure to improve cost savings and increase sales.
  • Agree and deliver both short-and medium-term financial account plans and forecasts, demonstrating commercial acumen in driving the longer-term strategy that anticipates the future needs of the client.
  • Working closely and maintaining communication with all functions across the business and internal partners for all account specifics (finance, operations) to ensure account performance and delivery.
  • Identifying when change is needed, be proactive in recognising when current working practices are not delivering growth for our business or the client.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client relationship with Samsung key contacts as a trusted partner on behalf of CPM.
  • Be a data champion with great attention to detail, producing client summaries to accompany client monthly reporting providing insight, identifying opportunities and driving recommendations for improvement. You will be able to interpret this insight to drive the client’s decision-making process.
  • Recruiting, training, motivating, coaching and personally developing direct reports, influencing and inspiring the team in order to achieve KRA’s and objectives.

You could be our successful Samsung Client Account Director if you have

  • Experience of managing clients and key stakeholders at account director level, with fantastic communication skills.
  • Extensive retail execution experience and a strong understanding of the UK consumer electronics industry.
  • Previous experience of working at director level in field marketing, preferably with technology clients and/or managing long term contract client relationships
  • The ability to create detailed and informative presentations, using data insights as the main element to enable the client to make key decisions quickly.
  • Proven experience of motivating others to drive best-in-class execution of KPIs and influence decision-makers
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to prepare and control budgets, with experience of forecasting, modelling and managing return on investment. You will have experience of developing insight and data led strategies
