We’re looking to recruit an exceptional Insight Analyst to join our CPM Samsung team. Salary £35k per annum + 10% Bonus; 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and 1 day extra per year of service up to 31 days. This role can be predominately home working with 1/2 days in Chertsey.

The Senior Insight Analyst is responsible for extracting, manipulating and merging multiple data sets to identify trends, opportunities and challenges, and to translate them into actionable recommendations. This role would be responsible for data insights for the DA Field team. This role reports into the Client Service Director and is based between home working and in Chertsey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of DA analysis workflow, including workload and output of 1 direct report
• Generate regular analysis/reporting to drive actionable insights to help define business objectives
• Perform data mining, blending large datasets to support analysis and drive further insights
• Analyse and combine multiple data sources (internal and external) in order to identify and create new, valuable and accurate data sets
• Support the Client Service Team through analysis of data to understand the commercial opportunities, threats, best practice etc. and propose actions to be taken.
• To understand the Samsung DA product range, promotions and retail initiatives, in order to encompass this information into suggested actions.
• Understand the DA marketplace, trends, competitor ranges and initiatives from market research and commercial analysis

Essential Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in an analytical role
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Strong technical skills including data extraction and data modelling
• Exceptional planning and organisation skills
• Complete IT literacy in Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Office 365 and general digital awareness and skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders up to a senior level
• Able to look at problems creatively, and identify better ways of doing things
• We would also be particularly keen to hear from you if you have worked in the tech marketplace directly or indirectly; and hold a Degree level or higher in a numerate subject (e.g. Maths, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research or Computer Science).
