We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our People Team at CPM. Your role will be to provide proactive and collaborative business partnering support to specific field team accounts and office teams. You will be responsible for managing anything from employee relations to talent management, balancing day-to-day and commercial interests while remaining legal and compliant.

Ideal Location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9

Salary: £30K DOE

Hours: 37.5, Monday to Friday

Hybrid working with 3:2 ratio, Office:Home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confident advice and guidance to resolve HR issues and manage HR risks by balancing legal and commercial risks.
  • Use data and management information to identify trends and make recommendations to improve the quality of people management.
  • Exposure and involvement in projects related to the role.
  • Support succession planning and talent identification processes, including 'top talent'.
  • Build strong relationships with Recruitment, Talent, People Services, and Reward specialists.
  • Input in the regular review and updating of the full range of HR policies and procedures in line with Employment Legislation.
  • Stakeholder communication with a recognisable client portfolio.
  • Deliver training and advice to the business as needed, to ensure compliance and effective people management. Work with Account Managers to identify any line manager training needs.
  • Undertake exit interviews for leavers monitoring content and ensuring follow-up action is taken.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An interest in HR/ Employment Law.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A high level of empathy.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a key focus on planning and organisation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working on HR systems would be ideal, but also the ability to adapt to new technology.
