The Web Solutions Project Manager is responsible for the day to day running and ongoing development of an international web-based generation and account management tool used by client’s employees. From £38k + company bonus (26 days holiday + Bank Holidays, onsite parking, Flexible employee benefits), based in head office in Thame.

The role would suit someone with a project management or business analyst background who is used to managing the high demands and expectations of a premium client. To be successful you would need to be highly organised, proactive and be able to think creatively.

Key responsibilities include: -

• Day to day management of the web tool, associated troubleshooting and query handling
• Line management responsibility for another team member
• Liaising with the client’s Program Manager on a regular basis to discuss and interpret development specifications for changes and enhancements to the web tool, producing required documentation and briefing the development team for quoting
• Monitoring progress of scheduled web development with the IT team and keeping the client informed
• User acceptance testing of any new development, scheduling and communication regarding deployment
• Producing training materials, organising and hosting training sessions
• Hosting calls with the client’s Operations teams to discuss tool performance and progress of changes requested

Knowledge and Experience Required:
• Excellent communication skills
• Working with complex documentation and interpreting requirements from international stakeholders
• Providing training, either face to face or via web conferencing
• Proven experience of project management, data analysis or similar
• Experience of project managing IT development and delivery
• Experience of managing a small team
• Be able to work independently

Useful skills and experience would include:

• Experience or knowledge of the IT distribution channel
• An understanding of web coding would be advantageous but not essential
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience with video communications or web conferencing
