CPM are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to lead the Asda Experiential programme. This is a client facing position selling benefits of retail media directly into brands and agencies. We are looking for an Account Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basic, starting as soon as possible paying up to £40,000 plus car allowance and bonus. 

Ideal Location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9  

Salary: £35-40k p/a plus car allowance and bonus

As a Sales Account Manager you will take on a key role within our marketing team, tackling all the challenges that come with delivering a sales target, managing a range of clients; running campaigns end to end and being the expert in all aspects of retail experiential marketing. You will be supported by a great team at the CPM Head Office in Thame, working closely with them and our client at Asda in Leeds.  

As a Sales Account Manager you will: 

  • Source new opportunities and contacts through a variety of prospecting methods including social media and industry insights tools 
  • Account Manage an existing customer base and develop opportunities into booked revenue 
  • Conduct regular visits to ASDA stores to really get under the skin of your propositions and be fully immersed in the environment
  • Write proposals for a variety size of campaigns, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Own your campaigns end to end and follow every activation through to completion 

What we need from you: 

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in a new business sales role, within an event or media environment ideally 
  • Ideally, you’ve had experience in grocery retail or FMCG brands 
  • Strong negotiation skills and be confident to handle objections  
  • A solid background in client service and problem-solving including challenging the client when appropriate  
  • Demonstration of owning and delivering a sales target, including forecasting.
