Do you have a finance degree but no working experience?  We're looking for an ambitious, driven individual with a finance degree. We’re seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Head Office in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Salary: Up to £30k DOE

The Finance Assistant Role:

This key role within our Finance department will work across both the Financial & Commercial accounts teams and is pivotal to ensuring all accounts are processed in a timely manner. We are a very dynamic business, meaning that you will have several projects on the go at any one time. Timescales can often be short, so your ability to rise to a challenge and manage business expectations will be vital!

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Assistant are:

  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Financial Transactional Processing
  • Audit support
  • Raising of sales invoices
  • Creating and posting of journals
  • Assisting in production of periodic client reconciliations
  • Additional ad-hoc duties to support the finance department.

You would enjoy this Finance Assistant role if:

  • You might be actively studying (AAT,CIMA or ACCA stage 1). We will support your studies!
  • You would enjoy being client facing and are able to quickly build rapport with people.
  • You have a commitment to quality and actively seek to broaden your experience and knowledge to keep ahead of the curve!
  • You’re curious – you seek to understand what is going on and proactive in recommending improvements
