We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Thame as an Account Manager you’re taking on a key role within the team, tackling all the challenges that come with winning & managing clients; running projects, being the client’s main day-to-day contact and go the extra mile and get things done. This will be the perfect role if you are used to working at a consistently high standard in a dynamic, data driven environment. We offer an excellent basic salary between £35-£45k depending on experience, plus bonus, pension, 26 days holiday rising to 31 days.

You’ll need to quickly get to know your client’s business inside-out and have a clear understanding of the services and performance levels they expect from *shopt. You’ll use this insight, your personal communication skills and your sales experience to build strong professional relationships with your clients, learn how to influence their people and processes to encourage decisions and actions, identify opportunities to add value, and grow our business wherever you can.

What will you be doing?

• To identify new clients to pro-actively market and sell *shopt into
• To develop client relationships through regular meetings to review performance
• Compile commercial proposals, monitor and control budgets, ensuring sales and net revenue targets are met.
• To lead, manage and develop an active pipeline, maximising all and category opportunities.
• To maintain and develop systems to measure achievement of objectives, including an appropriate level of field accompaniment and auditing.
• To keep up-to-date with new trends and developments across industry

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required?

• Excitement and passion for digital solutions and a flair for innovation
• Ideally experience of either digital solutions / convenience channel / on-trade channel / field sales
• Proven track record of consistently over delivering against targets with demonstrated tenacity
• Good administration, planning and organisation skills
• High level of verbal and written communication
• Strong and confident presentation skills
• Ability to influence and actively listen
• Excellent interpersonal skills – comfortable and adept at managing multiple stakeholders and relationships
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Experience of working in a fast-moving sales environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to adopt a creative or innovative approach when needed
• Experience in agency or with blue chip manufacturers preferable
• Ability to manage forecasts, budgets and costings.

Travel: You will need to be prepared to undertake national coverage in support of the new business leads and have flexibility and willingness work away from home occasionally.

Hours: 9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri
