The role of the Project Manager is to support CPM Group in the delivery of a number of high-profile projects, working out of our Head Office in Thame. This is a part-time, 1-year fixed term position, working up to 24 hours a week. There is flexibility in days and hours worked. Salary up to £55k pro-rata.

We require a Project Manager with experience of delivering system change/ implementation/ transition projects. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Project Manager is responsible for managing all workstreams, building relationships with key stakeholders, managing risks, resolving issues and ensuring we deliver the projects on time and budget. The Project Manager will be responsible for building and implementing a robust governance structure to further support the success of the projects.


Key Responsibilities:
• Successfully define and execute the project to agreed schedule, budget and scope.
• Create and deliver project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resources within the business and assign appropriate workstream leads.
• Manage projects to time, cost and quality metrics.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
• Works closely with relevant stakeholders and workstream leads to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project.
• Communicate at all levels to facilitate effective project delivery.
• Submit project status reports to stakeholders
• Manage risks and issues effectively.
• Plan implementation of software/services/policies and processes
• Anticipate and reacts to change with the ability to course-correct quickly.
• Implementation and follow-through of a robust governance structure.
• Ensure project is delivered successfully by regular lessons learned reviews


Knowledge and Experience Required:
• Competent in Project Management Methodology (Prince2 or similar).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Projects and advantageous to be competent on Microsoft Visio
• Previous experience in system change and implementation.
• Understands the complexity of managing projects involving process and system changes that impact on multiple areas
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Close attention to detail and diligent organisation skills
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality projects end to end, on time and budget
• A collaborative working style.
• Meticulous budget management, tracking, and adherence.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in a compressed timeframe.
• Ability to maintain order and efficiency

Experience:
• 2+ years of demonstrable Project Management experience with suitable qualifications
• Experience in leading systems change/implementation projects
• Previous experience managing data migration/standardisation/simplification and reporting projects an advantage
