New year, new opportunity! CPM have an exciting opportunity for a marketing executive to work on behalf of Asda. As a POS Planner in the In-store Marketing team, you will coordinate the delivery of POS across category departments and their product launches to deliver value and quality led messaging in store for our customers. This is a great opportunity to be involved in all steps of the process, from project management and initial design through to effective implementation at store. Salary up to £31k depending on experience, this is a full-time role, flex for home working.

The in-store marketing team create and execute compelling Point of Sale (POS) across all our store formats, driving basket spend, engaging customers and adding shopper satisfaction. Excellent communication skills are essential for this marketing executive role along with experience working with design and print agencies and/or having experience in a similar marketing role.

The Ins and outs:
• Responsible for the delivery and implementation of POS packages, projects, and solutions for all formats across the estate
• Work with stakeholders across the business, including Category Execution teams, senior managers and retail operations, the design team and retail operations to design and execute campaigns.
• Responsible for critical path management across POS projects, to ensure activity lands right first time
• Responsible for creating print briefs for our agencies to ensure the brief is delivered with minimum amends
• Analysis of competitors activity, building a knowledge bank and supporting autopsy process
• Accountable for executing all POS projects to budget and in the most cost-efficient way including working with specific finance systems to track spend
• Developing innovation which drives impact and a ‘Low Cost Operating Model’ for in-store marketing
• Support the POS Manager with other reasonable requests
• Role model for Asda beliefs and demonstrates cultural awareness

What you’ll need:
• Critical path management experience
• Proven track record of operational and executional excellence
• Strong communication skills – good ability to engage stakeholders and knowing when to escalate
• Proven commercial acumen and budget responsibility
• An understanding of store formats, with the ability to adapt plans and thinking
• A track record of working with and managing agencies
