CPM are looking for an Insight and Strategy Manager to join our highly successful Business Insights Team, AXIS. Salary £40,000 - £45,000k Per annum + company bonus, pension, private healthcare + generous holiday and other flexible benefits

Ideal Location: Thame OX9, United Kingdom

The purpose of the role is to represent Axis and their products in wider new business pitches for the CPM group, showing how Axis products fit with wider CPM group offer and what these can deliver for clients. You will have a strong team ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic team and agency environment. You will be confident presenting with both internal and external senior clients, maintaining day to day relationships with these stakeholders

Axis seek strategic partnerships with brands, sales and marketing agencies to optimise performance by applying our Insight Toolkit & transformational thinking. We work data to create insight that optimises strategy and return on investment for our retail and B2B marketing channels.
Key responsibilities
• Meet with clients (internal and external) virtually and face to face to understand business needs and challenges
• Take briefs from prospective clients (internal and external)
• Take responsibility for creating the response including compiling content and building the commercial plan.
• Work as part of a team from brief through to pitch, creating the solution through input from key people within the New Business Team and Axis leadership team
• Work with all internal Axis / CPM stakeholders to develop our response to RFPs
• Ensure that all tasks and workstreams are delivered on time to meet the deadlines of the RFP
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure that we are asking the right questions to get under the skin of the client business and needs
• Manage relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Manage and develop opportunity clients, delivering ongoing work whilst looking to sell up through toolkit
• Keep finger on the pulse of competitor offerings and innovation

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong and confident presentation skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to adopt a creative or innovative approach when needed
• Proven experience in performing data analysis using Excel or other analytics software
• Ability to interpret and summarise data and to create compelling data insights presented clearly and powerfully using MS PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – comfortable and adept at managing multiple stakeholders and relationships
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Experience of working in FMCG/fast-moving sales environment with customer contact experience
• Ability to understand and explain complex analytical products with confidence
• Experience in agency or with blue chip manufacturers preferable
• Competent in the use of Microsoft office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage forecasts, budgets and costings.
