We’re looking to recruit an exceptional Data and Insight Analyst to join our CPM Samsung team. Salary £40k per annum, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and 1 day extra per year of service up to 31 days. The Samsung Data and Insight Analyst is responsible for extracting, manipulating and merging multiple data sets to identify trends, opportunities and challenges, and to translate them into actionable recommendations. They would take ownership for client insight presentation production as well as report architecture and design. This role would be responsible for insight delivery for the TVAV field and Training teams and would deputise for the Insight Manager when required. This role reports into the Insights Manager and is based a combination of Thame/WFH. There is a requirement for this role to work a weekend day per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of TV/AV analysis workflow
• Generate regular analysis/reporting to drive actionable insights to help define business objectives
• Perform data mining, blending large datasets to support analysis and drive further insights
• Analyse and combine multiple data sources (internal and external) in order to identify and create new, valuable and accurate data sets
• Support the Client Service Team through analysis of data to understand the commercial opportunities, threats, best practice etc. and propose actions to be taken.
• To understand the Samsung TV/AV product range, promotions and retail initiatives, in order to encompass this information into suggested actions.
• Understand the TV/AV marketplace, trends, competitor ranges and initiatives from market research and commercial analysis

Essential Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in an analytical role
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Strong technical skills including data extraction and data modelling
• Exceptional planning and organisation skills
• Complete IT literacy in Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Office 365 and general digital awareness and skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders up to a senior level
• Able to look at problems creatively, and identify better ways of doing things
• We would also be particularly keen to hear from you if you have worked in the tech marketplace directly or indirectly; and hold a Degree level or higher in a numerate subject (e.g. Maths, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research or Computer Science).
