We’re seeking an experienced Developer to join AXIS our Business Insights Team, AXIS based in Thame, Oxfordshire. Salary up to £50k per annum, company performance bonus and excellent benefits including pension, 26 days holiday rising to 31 days

Ideal location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9

The purpose of the Developer is to work closely with Customers and Customer Success Team to consider requirements and propose appropriate solutions. You will create high-level and more detailed estimates to encompass own and others work to form Proposal and Statement of Work documents for Customer sign-off by using appropriate Coding languages to build solutions to meet agreed timescales and budgets

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimates against potential work using high-level requirements or proposal
• Translates requirements in to delivered solution using appropriate technology and coding languages
• Delivers support and maintenance tasks across a wide range of AXIS Client solutions
• Develops solutions that work towards our strategy and follow AXIS policies, best practice and processes
• Active interest in Technology and Innovation with on-going interest in broadening technical knowledge

Technology required:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience using libraries such as React, Angular, Angular JS
• Microsoft ASP.NET (ideally MVC) – inc. SOAP and REST web services
• SQL Server T-SQL, stored procedures
• Development Lifecycle Tools

• Experience in the above Technologies including developing responsive websites & User Interfaces/User Experience Design

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential requirements for the role
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally as required
• Clear and concise communication and presentations skills
