We have an exciting new opportunity at CPM as a Fleet Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis. You will be the focal point for all matters relating to vehicle fleet; manage all fleet related communications internally and externally. We pay an impressive £35,000 per annum plus company benefits.

Location: Thame

Overview of Fleet Manager Role:
• Focal point for all matters relating to vehicle fleet; manage all fleet related communications internally and externally.
• Relationship management for employees and internal teams; acting as the main point of contact and escalation for issues, e.g. invoicing, storage, disputes.
• Maintain a positive relationship with all providers, putting in place regular meetings and ensuring service levels are agreed and maintained; identifying problems and seeing them through to resolution.
• Effective management of the company’s vehicle fleet, working with the fleet supplier to identify new car deals to ensure we have the most cost-effective fleet in place, raising of POs for vehicle hire.
• Develop a proactive approach to managing cars with a focus on driver safety, making recommendations and implementing new processes or training as needed.
• Managing pool cars and vehicles in storage, ensure the allocation process for these is effective and minimises storage costs. Ensuring employees are allocated cars appropriate for their role and minimising short-term and daily hires.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to manage all fleet processes, meeting regularly to drive the right actions and ensure compliance with Group policies and processes.
• Regularly review monthly risk reports to identify trends and drive remedial action to improve driver behaviour and minimise impact on insurance premiums and risk.
• Keep up to date with driver safety trends and ensure appropriate training and processes are carried out in the field.
• Maintain internal records to calculate and track amounts charged to employees and incident rates.
• Reconcile recharge notifications to invoices.
• Raise queries with fleet supplier as required.
• Notify employees of any car deductions.
• Notify Payroll of amounts to be deducted each month.
• Compile KPI data for vehicle fleet.

Ideally candidates will have:
• Proven Fleet Management experience (however this is desirable with transferrable skills)
• High degree of confidentiality and diplomacy required
• Experience of working within a busy department.
• Willingness to be flexible regarding work hours in order to achieve strict deadlines in accordance with Company guidelines.
• Analytical and a good understanding of HMRC compliance relating to Fleet Management.
• High level of interpersonal skills, and ability to support team members.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.

The details:
Salary: c£35,000 (DOE) per annum plus company benefit
Working Location: CPM Thame, Thame, OX9 3PG
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
