An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work within our busy People Team for a HR Advisor. The People Business Team are responsible for the provision of HR advice and support services to a range of business units and entities within the CPM Group. The role will business support field teams and will be responsible for advising and supporting line managers in all aspects of employee relations to manage business risk. Salary up to £28,000 pa based on experience + highly competitive benefits.

You will be confident in advising on all aspects of employment law, from family friendly policies to disciplinaries and restructures, therefore relevant experience from a previous HR Advisory role and an up-to-date knowledge of employment law is essential.

Key responsibilities:
• Manage HR risks through the provision of employment law advice and solutions
• Review data and identify and report on trends for own business partner accounts, liaising with internal stakeholders and making recommendations to improve
• Input on specific HR change initiatives and updating of the full range of HR policies and procedures.
• Work alongside operational teams to ensure appropriate employment documentation and processes are in place and followed consistently across all accounts
• Support with Operations in producing relevant contracts/ changes and documentation
• Support line managers in effectively managing any long-term sick cases and any Family Friendly leave cases in line with Company policy
• Undertake exit interviews for leavers monitoring content and ensuring follow-up action is taken where necessary.
• Take ownership for own personal and professional development and keep up to date with trends in external environment, including employment law updates
• Support and input into adhoc projects as required

Skills needed:
• Working with multiple stakeholders from around the business, you will need to be a credible communicator as well as be able to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment; resilience is a must.
• Ideally you will be full or part CIPD qualified, and for the right candidate we would support through ongoing sponsorship and development.
• Empathetic nature and high level of confidentiality
• Strong IT skills (MS office including intermediate excel skills) and experience of HR systems (highly desired).
• Team player - Builds collaborative relationships
• Planning and Organisational skills – ability to prioritise a busy reactive workload

• Full-time 37.5 hours per week: Monday – Friday (between 9am-6pm, with some flexibility considered)
