We are looking to recruit a superb Customer Service Advisor to join one of our contact centre teams to provide exceptional customer experience, on behalf of our client Diageo. Diageo are the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of international brands across spirits, wine & beer which includes brands such as Guinness, Smirnoff, Baileys & Captain Morgan’s. You will provide a knowledgeable service in support of the licensed publican trade and their direct suppliers, in all aspects of any of the brand’s related queries or requests. You will also be required to support employees who work in the field directly with the above mentioned customers.

This opportunity is a Fixed Term Contract role for up to 12 months.
The role is a full time positon offering a salary of £16,500 pro rata

Opportunities to pursue sales across Diageo’s GB portfolio when relevant will also be expected.

Primarily the role is focussed on ensuring licensees equipment is ready and able to pour. Using your technical expertise, you will assist your customer through first line diagnostics, using the necessary skills to question the customer in a polite and professional manner and where appropriate you will solve their queries during the first contact. More complex matters will be managed by scheduling a colleague to follow up the query within a set time.

You will update and maintain the In-house database with the relevant information about the call and check that other key data fields are correct and conduct other administrative tasks as directed by your line manager.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be required to build strong relationships with regional field colleagues and proactively develop an understanding of regional strategy and activities.
You would enjoy this role if:
• Have experience in a customer service/sales environment
• Have experience of working in the licensed publican trade - desirable but not essential
• Have the ability to prioritise workload within a fast moving environment
• Highly articulate with excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers alike
• Have the ability to find innovative, logical solutions to challenges as they arise
• Have attention to detail in order to maintain accurate records and information updating the database
• GCSE English & Maths
• Proven team player
For the successful Customer Service Advisor candidate we will reward you with:

• Salary: £16,500 PRO RATA
• 22 Days holiday +bank holidays (increasing 1 Day a year capped at 31) PRO RATA
• Monday – Friday with shifts between 8am – 6pm on a rota basis. Also working 1 in 4 Weekends (with time off in Lieu during the week)
• 37.5 hours per week
• Optional company incentives
