The role

This is a challenging and rewarding role within a forward-thinking in-house recruitment team. As the Talent Acquisition Manager you'll provide a proactive resourcing solution to your clients, responsible for the recruitment processes from conception to fulfilment for the temporary and flexible area of our business and working across the wider team to support when needed.

Guiding your team to achieve results and meet all agreed client SLAs in a fast-paced environment, great teamwork and collaboration with your colleagues and the Head of Talent Acquisition will be essential.

You will line manage a minimum of two direct reports (Talent Scouts/recruiters) plus temporary recruiters as required.

The role is primarily based in Thame but may require some travel to other CPM sites to meet with direct reports or client teams.

Hours are 37.5 hours based over 5 days Mon-Fri. (Flexible working pattern between 8am – 7pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strategic partnerships with your clients and colleagues, updating them regularly.
• Proactively plan, managing resource and manage workload.
• Develop effective resourcing solutions. Leverage all relevant opportunities and avenues for candidate generation, directing Recruiters and using agreed budgets to source the best candidates.
• Support and direct team members in writing job advertisements and decide how and where jobs will be advertised
• Design and assist with interviewing and assessment days.
• Become the expert for your area, staying abreast of market trends, providing clients and the Talent Acquisition Team with insight and advice.
• Manage, support and coach your direct reports to deliver, develop and grow

You would enjoy this role if:

• You are an experienced recruiter with an In-House recruitment background
• You have experience of managing and motivating teams
• You are passionate about recruitment and matching the right skills to the right role
• If you are self-motivated and experienced in finding creative and effective ways to source and engage candidates
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to prioritise your workload and multi-task in a busy, varied role
• Confident with strong communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders and build successful relationships with them and candidates
• Willingness to work collaboratively within the team and support with ad-hoc tasks where necessary
Essential criteria
• IT literate – including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards and experience using social media for recruitment.
• Full UK driving licence
